Wang Shi-Shi’s Age-defying Mother at 66: Strategically Elevating Her Daughters into High Society

Recently, Donnie Yen and Wang Shi-Shi celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a splendid ceremony at Lake Como, Italy. In addition to family members, numerous friends from their social circle attended, making it a vibrant event. Although the wedding has concluded, attendees continue to share gorgeous snapshots on social media platforms. Shi-Shi’s mother recently posted a solo portrait on Instagram, wearing a tube dress and confidently posing for the camera. With her hair tied up and adorned with a diamond necklace, she looked both elegant and regal.

Despite being 66 years old, Wang’s mother is impeccably well-maintained, looking incredibly youthful. Often accompanying her daughter and son-in-law to various events, she handles the limelight with grace. When seen alongside her daughters Shi-Shi and Wang Yuan-Yuan, the trio often gets mistaken for sisters. While she admits to being fond of beauty, she attributes her youthful looks to disciplined living over the years rather than intensive care routines.

Though not a celebrity herself, Wang’s mother exudes a charm and demeanor that rivals any artist. Apart from setting standards for herself, she has been a strict disciplinarian to both her daughters. The Wang family is rumored to be involved in the jewelry business in Canada, earning the moniker “Diamond Tycoons of Canada”. She has instilled European royal etiquettes in her daughters, ensuring they uphold high standards of decorum. Penalties were imposed for any inappropriate behavior or lack of manners, and they were not allowed to date until they turned 18. With such upbringing, both sisters embody the ideal attributes of high society.

In 2003, Shi-Shi married Donnie Yen, who has amassed significant wealth and owns numerous properties due to his constant film engagements. Yuan-Yuan, on the other hand, married the son of the “Toy Tycoon”, Cai Jiazan. It’s understood that the Cai family spent a staggering 800 million Hong Kong dollars for the wedding, which included a 600 million-dollar mansion, 8 million in cash, and 50 million worth of jewelry. Post-marriage, Yuan-Yuan gave birth to a daughter and two sons, and subsequently retreated from the limelight to focus on her family. As for Shi-Shi’s cousin, Jessica, she married Kenneth, the son of renowned plastic surgeon Kim Yong-Qiang, in 2019. Hailing from a prestigious family, Kenneth has ventured into various businesses and is incredibly affectionate towards his wife.
