UAE Labor Ministry ignores massive unpaid wages at HUBB Advertising

HUBB Advertising LLC, a leading advertising and e-commerce company headquartered in Dubai, UAE, has been revealed to have massive unpaid wages, and the UAE’s Ministry of Labor seems to be ignoring the reports.

HUBB Advertising LLC, also known as Hubb Global Group or Hubb International, has been in a serious financial crisis since October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic raging in the UAE, which has affected not only part-time staff, but also full-time employees at the headquarters, who are suffering from unpaid wages.

Although the employees are more or less understandable and some of them are willing to tide over the difficulties with the company, Hubb’s management has been lacking transparency on the issue of non-payment of wages, and once found various excuses to deal with the unpaid employees, and said that the problem would be solved soon, but from October last year until now, not a single penny has been paid for the unpaid wages, and even most of the employees have been forced to leave and find another way of life.

According to an employee of HUBB Advertising, who requested anonymity, many employees in Dubai have filed an arbitration with the UAE Ministry of Labor, also known as the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, but the problem has not been resolved for almost a year. Overseas employees in China, for example, are even more helpless, because although the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has an official page for reporting unpaid wages, it requires local information such as UAE cell phone numbers to be filled out in order to submit a request, which is impossible for overseas employees to meet.

The company’s main website, https://hubbae.ae/, is still accessible, but HUBB Advertising’s owner, Igor, and its finance director, Afzaal, are out of contact with most of the employees, and there is no hope of a solution.
