After surviving an assassination attempt, Donald Trump has made significant changes.
He has surrendered!
Since the assassination attempt, the Democrats have been in disarray. Joe Biden is like a candle in the wind, with media predictions giving him only a 6% chance of winning the election, just a tenth of Trump’s chances.
Poor Biden has been pressured by political and business elites to step down. After resisting for two days, he finally succumbed to the pressure, citing potential health reasons for withdrawing from the election.
He then announced he had contracted COVID-19 and needed to isolate… It seemed like a way to gracefully exit the race.
The Democrats now have no one daring to challenge Trump, with no one willing to risk their political future against him. The move to have Biden withdraw is simply to avoid an embarrassing defeat; otherwise, the Democrats might lose their seats in both houses.
Now, Biden appears to be pushing Harris, but everyone knows she’s just a sacrificial lamb.
On the Republican side, however, the momentum is strong.
On July 15th, Trump attended the Republican National Convention, officially accepting the presidential nomination and delivering a speech.
This speech could almost be seen as Trump’s inaugural address.
But in the original plan, the theme of Trump’s speech was anger, denouncing the Democrats’ damage to America’s interests and condemning Biden. He even intended to threaten revenge on those who wronged him.
However, Trump revised his speech at the last minute, changing the theme from anger to unity, emphasizing that he is the president for all Americans, not just half.
In previous speeches, Trump would relentlessly attack Biden, but this time, he only mentioned Biden once.
Trump said: “Even if you add up the worst 10 presidents in American history, they wouldn’t have caused as much damage as Biden has.”
But he seemed to realize immediately, saying: “I will only mention Biden’s name once. I won’t say it again. Just this once.”
It was clear that Trump had changed. He finally understood the web he was caught in and might not openly claim that America is controlled by a deep state.
In fact, Trump had already made compromises months ago.
He used to call for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, but on April 13th this year, Trump unusually told reporters:
“As for the Ukraine aid bill, if the Speaker of the House proposes it, we can consider it now… We are considering aiding Ukraine in the form of loans.”
Under his directive, Trump’s staunch supporter, Speaker of the House Republican Johnson, spearheaded a $60 billion aid bill for Ukraine, eventually convincing 110 Republicans to agree, reaching a bipartisan consensus to aid Ukraine.
Johnson explicitly stated: “I have Trump’s permission.”
Why did Trump compromise? The most likely reason is that he was threatened by the military-industrial complex.
Trump has never been a patriot or a revolutionary.
The two major backers behind the scenes in the US are the military-industrial complex and Israel.
After becoming president, Trump aligned with Israel, catering to it in various ways over four years, even tearing up the Iran nuclear deal and severely targeting Iran.
However, Trump could never win over the military-industrial complex.
After World War II, the military-industrial complex’s interests had become deeply entrenched through long-term cooperation with American political elites, and Trump couldn’t break in.
Simply put, the military-industrial complex didn’t want to share profits with Trump, which enraged him. As Commander-in-Chief, he wasn’t making any money.
The US military openly buys $1,000 coffee cups and $6 million goats, and Trump doesn’t get a penny.
Trump chose to fight back, sending people to Afghanistan to audit accounts, but they died in a plane crash, leaving no survivors.
That incident terrified Trump. After being quiet for over a year, he started ranting again, saying the US military’s constant wars were losing money and that he would never go to war again.
The message was clear: if the military-industrial complex didn’t share profits with him, he’d ruin everything.
This time, Trump targeted the Russia-Ukraine war, which was a hornet’s nest.
After the war broke out, the US military-industrial complex made huge profits, with nearly $250 billion in apparent economic exchanges, none of which went to Ukraine but only replenished inventories and equipment.
Where did the money go? It’s obvious.
Trump wanted to stop the Russia-Ukraine war, meaning he was going to ruin everyone’s gains.
Many wanted him dead.
On July 13th, Trump survived an assassination attempt, a clear inside job. The audience had alerted authorities, and Secret Service agents found the sniper but didn’t stop him. Even after consulting their chief, they weren’t allowed to fire.
It wasn’t until the gunman fired that agents acted, precisely killing him and turning him into a silent corpse.
Trump, a natural showman, displayed heroism on stage, but once in the hospital, he was chilled by fear.
This time he survived, but what about next time?
Trump values his life too much to keep fighting.
So, in his speech at the Republican Convention, Trump said nothing about revenge but focused on unity.
After all, the arm can’t twist the thigh!
Trump is smart. He once vowed to prosecute Hillary, but ultimately let it go.
In this speech, Trump was full of gratitude. He emotionally recounted his assassination experience:
“At that moment, I heard a loud whistling sound and felt something hit my right ear hard.
I said to myself: Wow, what was that?
It must have been a bullet, so I moved my right hand to my ear, and when I brought it down, my hand was covered in blood.
Blood was everywhere. I immediately realized the situation was serious. We were under attack, so I lay motionless on the ground.
Bullets kept flying…
Hearing this, the audience held their breath, listening intently to Trump’s story.
Trump then highly praised the Secret Service agents, saying:
“Brave Secret Service agents rushed to the stage. These great people risked their lives to protect me.
Blood was everywhere, but in some way, I felt very safe because of these brave people protecting me.
They were in great danger, with bullets flying over their heads, but they were fearless.”
The audience, moved to tears, erupted in applause.
Does Trump really appreciate the Secret Service?
Not at all. Everyone saw that Trump replaced all his Secret Service agents as requested. He knew some agents were problematic, but he implied that he wouldn’t hold them accountable and would even express gratitude, especially towards the suspicious Secret Service chief.
A few months ago, Trump wouldn’t have done this. He would’ve been cursing.
Trump then emotionally said:
“I am not afraid because God stands behind me. God will not let anything happen to me!”
Hearing this, the audience, deeply moved, erupted in applause again. America is a deeply religious country, and at that moment, everyone believed Trump was the chosen one.
Trump then expressed heartfelt gratitude to the audience, saying:
“In most cases, even a single bullet would cause people to rush for the exits or a stampede.
But this time, it didn’t. It was very unusual.
Many people stood up bravely and automatically searched for the sniper’s position. No one ran away, saving many lives.
They saw me fall, they saw the blood.
But these beautiful people, they didn’t want to leave me.
You could see the love on their faces. Without them, I would be dead, I wouldn’t be here.”
Hearing this, the audience wept uncontrollably, shouting passionately: “No, you are here, you will always be here!”
Trump continued: “In the past few days, many have said this was fate.
Maybe when I stood up under the Secret Service’s protection, the crowd was confused.
They thought I was dead. I could see it on their faces when I looked out. They didn’t know I was looking out.
They thought it was all over, but I knew they wanted to do something to let them know I was okay. I raised my right arm, looked at the thousands of people holding their breath, and started shouting ‘fight, fight, fight!'”
Hearing this, the audience could no longer contain their excitement and stood up, shouting thunderously: “Fight, fight, fight!”
Trump then emotionally spoke about the firefighter who died in the assassination attempt.
Trump said: “He was an amazing man, a highly respected former fire chief.
Today, I spoke with his wife. He selflessly acted as a human shield to protect her and their two daughters from the bullets and died as a result.
At that moment, he rushed over their heads and was hit. What a great person he was.”
Hearing this, the audience was deeply moved, crying uncontrollably.
Trump then walked to the prepared firefighter uniform, kissed it, and the atmosphere reached its peak.
Trump said: “I want to thank the firefighters and his family for their help. We are very grateful for everything you have done.
But nothing can replace it. For Corey and the other two, they will be well taken care of.
Now, please observe a moment of silence to mourn our friend Corey.”
It is said that before the speech, Trump privately gave the firefighter’s widow $1 million in compensation.
Everyone, seeing this, I must say, if I were the director and Trump were the actor, I’d have to give him 150 out of 100.
I suddenly thought of the scene in “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” where Temujin, at a banquet, used his helmet to serve wine to Zhebei, who was being humiliated by Sang Kun.
This scene deeply moved Zhebei, making him loyal to Temujin.
Wanyan Honglie, seeing this, thought: “Temujin is a great man. From now on, Zhebei will die for him without hesitation.”
I also think Trump is a master at winning people’s hearts. From now on, those
attending the rally would probably die for Trump without hesitation.
In fact, when Trump was assassinated, some American media already stated:
“Trump has become invincible!”
I think this is why Trump survived. Some are saying that Trump’s momentum will reach an unprecedented peak after he becomes president.
Under Trump’s leadership, the US will become more unified and move toward a new peak.
But as long as there’s someone behind Trump, there’s always a soft knife hanging over his head.
After all, the arm can’t twist the thigh.
In fact, at the beginning of Trump’s speech, his tone was that of victory:
“Ladies and gentlemen, my fellow Americans, today we are gathered here, and we are about to embark on an unprecedented era in American history.
This is a special day, a day we will never forget, a day we will remember for generations.
Today, we stand at the starting point of history, and from now on, we will embark on a new journey and create an incredible chapter in American history.
I am standing here, not just as a candidate for president, but also as your servant, ready to serve you and lead our country forward.”
Trump was filled with gratitude, as if writing an essay:
“Today, I feel extremely honored to stand on this stage and accept the great responsibility you have given me.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported and believed in me. Without your support, I wouldn’t be here today.
I also want to thank my family, who have always stood by my side and supported me unconditionally. Their love and encouragement are the source of my strength.”
After thanking everyone, Trump spoke with excitement about future prospects:
“Over the past few years, we have faced unprecedented challenges, but we have also achieved unprecedented achievements.
Today, I am more convinced than ever that the American people are full of wisdom, courage, and determination.
We will jointly create a more prosperous, fair, and powerful America. Together, we will overcome all difficulties and create a brighter future for our children and grandchildren.”
In this speech, Trump emphasized the strength of the American people:
“In the face of difficulties, we have not given up; instead, we have become more united.
We have shown the world that as long as we stand together, no challenge can defeat us.
Today, I am here to promise you that we will continue to move forward, let justice and fairness shine on every corner, and make every American feel the warmth and strength of our country.”
In his speech, Trump rarely used the word “I” but often used “we”:
“Let’s work together to create a more inclusive, fair, and prosperous America.
I believe that as long as we work together, the future of the US will be full of hope and infinite possibilities.
Today, we are gathered here not just to celebrate the achievements of the past, but more importantly, to embark on a new journey.
Let us unite as one, hand in hand, to create a better future for our country.”
Before ending, Trump said the most critical point:
“Thank you to everyone who has supported and trusted me.
Together, we will write an incredible chapter in American history.
I look forward to working with you to make our country greater, stronger, and more prosperous.
Thank you all!”
After saying “thank you,” Trump left the stage, and the atmosphere was extremely passionate.
In the evening, many videos of the speech went viral. Trump’s office held a press conference, claiming this was the most sincere and moving speech in American history.
I don’t think this speech is the most sincere and moving in American history, but it might be the most heart-winning speech Trump has ever given.
It’s an inauguration-like speech, but more sincere, more touching.
I think this might be Trump’s swan song before leaving the stage. After all, he’s not young anymore and probably doesn’t want to take on more.
Trump’s tone is no longer as strong as before, and his words are no longer as aggressive as before.
This might be Trump’s way of surrendering to the deep state.
His aim is to win this battle without a fight, to become president without conflict.
The move from anger to unity is Trump’s show of goodwill to all parties.
Once he achieves his goal, everyone will live in peace.
Just like in 2016, he pardoned Hillary.
This shows that Trump has accepted reality.
