The video shows a portion of what appears to be a mouse tail protruding from the starch-free ham produced by Longda Meat Products. The netizen claimed that they initially thought it was a worm, stating, “There is even fur on it.” However, upon closer inspection, they suspected it to be a mouse tail, saying, “I felt so nauseated; it seems to be a mouse tail. Hygiene is really worrying.”
According to the packaging of the ham provided by the netizen, the manufacturer of the ham is Shandong Longda Fine Food Co., Ltd., located in Yantai City, Shandong Province. The production date was January 28, 2024. On Thursday noon, the customer service staff of the company responded that colleagues from the relevant department are investigating the incident, but the specific investigation results have not yet been obtained, and the results of the investigation are still unclear.
