Nayuki Xi’an Store Plays Indecent Videos: Customer Service to Investigate and Address the Issue

“Playing indecent videos in public places is truly embarrassing.” On February 28th, some netizens reported that the electronic display screen at the Nayuki store in Xi’an Shenglong Square publicly played “indecent videos”, which made them feel extremely embarrassed and strongly disgusted. On the same day, the Xin Huanghe reporter reported this matter to the official customer service of Nayuki, and the customer service staff responded that they would provide feedback to the store involved for verification and processing.

Mr. Hong, the aforementioned netizen, told Xin Huanghe reporters that around 5 p.m. on the 28th, he and his friends went to the Nayuki store in Xi’an Shenglong Square. While they were drinking their beverages after ordering, “they looked up and saw indecent videos playing on the electronic display screen behind the ordering counter,” “I was shocked. I didn’t expect indecent videos to be played in public, which is truly embarrassing.”

Mr. Hong provided beverage orders, on-site videos, and pictures showing that around 4:30 p.m. on the 28th, he ordered two drinks at the Nayuki store in Xi’an Shenglong Square and then sat inside the store with his friends. “After sitting for a while, around 5 p.m., I found that they were playing indecent videos in the store.” Mr. Hong said that at the time of the incident, the store staff did not notice any abnormalities on the display screen because they had their backs turned, and after he discovered the situation, he immediately reported it to the customer service staff through the Nayuki ordering app. “A few minutes later, several display screens in the store turned off together.”

On the afternoon of the 28th, Xin Huanghe reporters called the official customer service of Nayuki to report the incident, and the customer service staff responded that they would record the matter, strengthen the corresponding management of the stores, and also provide feedback to the store involved for verification and processing. Subsequently, reporters made multiple calls to the Nayuki store in Xi’an Shenglong Square, but the phone was never answered.

According to the official website of Nayuki, it was founded in 2015 and was officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 30, 2021. Currently, Nayuki covers nearly 100 major cities in China, with over 1,200 stores.
