On the second day of the second lunar month, also known as the Dragon Head-Raising Day and the birthday of the Earth God, there is a folk belief that as the dragon raises its head, rainfall increases, making it an auspicious time for enhancing wealth. This auspicious day falls on March 11th this year. Taiwanese fortune-teller Tang Chen-wei has publicly shared three methods to boost your wealth on this occasion, reminding everyone not to miss out on the best time for improving luck.
Teacher Tang Chen-wei recently uploaded a new video on Facebook and YouTube channels discussing the auspicious day of Dragon Head-Raising and providing simple methods for people to enhance luck and replenish their wealth. From a folk perspective, Tang Chen-wei explained the first step as “shaving the dragon’s head when the dragon raises its head.” In other words, if you need a haircut, it’s advisable to do it on the day of the Dragon Head-Raising, as it not only signifies a fresh start but also symbolically removes impurities.
Moving on to the second step for improving luck, Tang Chen-wei pointed out its association with the red envelopes received during the lunar period. If you haven’t spent them yet, it’s suggested to deposit them in the bank on the day of the Dragon Head-Raising, symbolizing the replenishment and expansion of wealth. The best time to deposit money is between around 7 am and 11 am, with the period between 9 am and 11 am being the strongest in terms of energy. Alternatively, if you choose to go in the afternoon, it’s advisable to go between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Tang Chen-wei then shared the third step for enhancing luck, which involves simply drinking water to boost energy. In essence, “water represents wealth.” When visiting temples or banks on the Dragon Head-Raising Day, it’s recommended to bring a water bottle and fill it up from the water dispenser there. Tang Chen-wei emphasized that after enhancing energy, one’s spirit will naturally become more vigorous, thereby increasing motivation to earn money.
