However, shortly after its departure, the concerned owner noticed its absence. Upon checking surveillance footage, the owner was both distraught and angered to see the limping dog leaving. Immediately, the dog was retrieved.
Not long after the dog was brought back, the owner recognized the symptoms of poisoning. The owner rushed to the nearest veterinary clinic in the town to purchase medication and an IV drip. As an initial remedy, the dog was given a soap-water solution to help detoxify, followed by the medication. By the next day, the dog’s condition began to improve.
