Wang Ziyao, a 13-year-old first-year junior high school student in Feixiang District, Handan City, Hebei Province, was long bullied by three classmates in the same class and was killed by them on March 10. His body was found the next day in a vegetable greenhouse in Zhangzhuang Village, Beigaotown.
On March 18, a representative assistant of the deceased’s family revealed that the lawyer team had tested digging a hole with the family at the burial site, “The frozen soil layer was still there at the scene, and in terms of space, three children couldn’t complete it in a short time.”
According to Red Star News, the assistant of the lawyer representing the deceased’s family, Zang Fanqing, stated that Lawyer Zang Fanqing had been entrusted by the deceased’s family to conduct on-site investigations. On March 17, the lawyer team and the family went to the abandoned vegetable greenhouse at the scene of the incident to test digging a hole. “Both men and women, those who had done farm work and those who hadn’t, tried it. The trend was relatively clear. The frozen soil layer was still there at the scene, and in terms of space, three children couldn’t complete it in a short time.”
The abandoned vegetable greenhouse at the scene of the incident is located in Zhangzhuang Village, covered with weeds and old plastic sheets, adjacent to surrounding village houses. It is more than ten kilometers away from Jiudian Village where the victim lived. Residents of Zhangzhuang Village said that the abandoned vegetable greenhouse is very close to one of the suspects, with only about a hundred meters away.
According to previous reports, Wang Ziyao’s body underwent a post-mortem examination in the early hours of March 18. The deceased’s father and his representative lawyer witnessed the entire process of the post-mortem examination. The examination lasted for more than an hour, and there were wounds on the deceased’s head, face, and back.
On March 17, the Joint Working Group of Feixiang District, Handan City, Hebei Province, reported that all the suspects involved had been arrested, and criminal coercive measures had been taken in accordance with the law. Judicial authorities will punish the criminal behavior according to law.
