Shennong, Bian Que, Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing, Li Shizhen… Chinese medicine has a long history, and there are countless famous masters. Today, there are many Chinese pharmaceutical companies related to it. However, these pharmaceutical companies have frequently exposed drug quality defects in recent years. On April 12, the Chongqing Municipal Drug Administration issued a notice of 7 batches of drugs that did not meet the requirements, and the drugs produced by Bozhou Zhangzhongjing Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Co., Ltd. were found in the list again.
The announcement showed that the content of honeysuckle (200404) produced by the Bozhou Zhangzhongjing Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Co., Ltd. was not in compliance with the regulations based on an inspection by the Chongqing Food and Drug Inspection and Testing Institute.
It was learned that the company has been frequently found quality defects. According to the database of China’s National Food and Drug Administration, the company’s vinegar myrrh, terrapin, Angelica dahurica, and Fangfeng have all failed random inspections.
It is no coincidence. In fact, it is not only medicines with the title of “Zhang Zhongjing” that fail the random inspections. Enterprises with the names of famous Chinese medicine practitioners such as “Li Shizhen”, “Bian Que”, “Shennong” and “Hua Tuo” are also frequently “on the list.”
For example, “Li Shizhen”, the reporter combed and found that it was marked as a chest tablet produced by Li Shizhen Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., it was marked with Li Shizhen Golden Eye Patch produced by Hubei Li Shizhen Modern Biomedical Group Co., Ltd., and it was marked with a product produced by Hubei Li Shizhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Professional Market Co. Platycodon grandiflorum and other medicines have failed random inspections.
For example, “Shennong”, only 20 records of unqualified drugs produced by Shaoyang Shennong Chinese Medicine Technology Development Co., Ltd., involving 17 product regulations. Including vinegar and myrrh, Peucedanum, Achyranthes, Eucommia and other commonly used Chinese herbal medicine pieces. It indicates that the 13 product specifications produced by Guangxi Guigang Shen Pesticide Industry Co., Ltd. are unqualified, involving Asparagus, Duckweed, Imperata cylindrica, Astragalus, etc. At the same time, many batches of Chinese herbal medicines, such as Xiaotongcao, Dilong, and Haijinsha produced by Wuwei Shennong Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Co., Ltd., have also failed random inspections.
Other examples include “Hua Tuo” and “Bian Que”. The Qinghuo tablets produced by Huatuo Sinopharm Co., Ltd. and the Huoxiang Zhengqi water produced by Hebei Hengxiang Pharmaceutical Group Bianque Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have been exposed as having quality problems.
