Among the 25 batches of refrigerators made in China and sold in the Chinese market, 5 batches were found to be unqualified during random inspections, and the unqualified detection rate was 20%. Among them, 2 batches of refrigerators sold by Shanghai Xunmeng Information Technology Co., Ltd. (through Pinduoduo) were found to be unqualified, according to the results of the measurement supervision and spot check of various types of household appliances recently released by the Shanghai Market Supervision Bureau.
The samplings adopted the “double randoms” method, that is, to randomly select both companies and sampling personnel through the “double randoms” information system, which improves the fairness and effectiveness of supervision.
The Chinese refrigerator manufacturers involved include:
Hefei Royalstar Freezer Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Henan Xinfei Refrigeration Appliance Co., Ltd.
Guangdong Rongsheng Life Technology Co., Ltd.
Changshu Gelin Electric Technology Co., Ltd.
Chuzhou Yangz Washing Machine Co., Ltd.
In the test, the “energy efficiency rating” items of the five batches of unqualified refrigerators made in China did not meet the standards, and other unqualified items also included total volume, standard power consumption, and comprehensive power consumption.
A “Roushilong” refrigerator produced by Guangdong Rongsheng Life Technology Co., Ltd. sold in Pinduoduo failed to pass the inspection of 4 quality indicators, the most of all non-conforming refrigerators.
