Today, when journalists conducted inquiries, it was found that on Weibo, the accounts of Yang Ying and Zhang Jiani are currently under a restriction due to violations of relevant laws and regulations.
On November 1st, a message on Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok) stated, “This user is banned from receiving followers for violating community guidelines.” The journalist noticed that the personal verified accounts of actresses Yang Ying and Zhang Jiani cannot be followed on Douyin.
At the same time, this noon, some netizens reported that there were issues with Yang Ying and Zhang Jiani’s Weibo accounts. As of the afternoon, both their Weibo accounts can still be followed and receive private messages. Additionally, some users noticed that the personal Weibo account of BLACKPINK member Lisa, @lalalalisa_m, and the fan club account @LISA_LALISAHOUSE are inaccessible.
Today, multiple media outlets attempted to contact Yang Ying’s and Zhang Jiani’s respective studios to inquire about the reasons for the account restrictions. However, no one answered the phone calls.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a media outlet managed to reach Zhang Jiani’s assistant, who stated that they are unaware of the reasons for the inability to follow the accounts. They do not plan to inquire with the platform, and they denied that it’s a form of “cold treatment,” suggesting that “choosing to accept the platform’s handling might be a better option.”
