According to multiple sources on Jan 26th, to expand cooperation with Tencent and other Chinese game companies, Japanese established game company BANDAI NAMCO (BNGI) plans to set up a branch company in Shanghai soon, and about 20 people will be employed.
The branch’s main work is to help plan and release games. BNGI became a partner of Tencent in last August, and their co-developed mobile game based on famous Japanese cartoon “Naruto” will be released in the first half of 2015.
