Apple begins a new round of purging cheating mobile games recently, some Chinese mobile games thus plunged in lists of App Store, including “Wukong and Diaochan” falling from 78th in Grossing list to 100th, and some are even expelled from the store, such as “Invincible Ninja”. Qins Moon 2, a RPG 3D game from Changyou once ranked 30s in Grossing, suddenly fell off the list.
Apple has been upgrading its algorithms of App Store time and again, but cannot radically eliminate rampant cheating behaviors by Chinese mobile game companies; an insider once pointed out in 2013 that 80% of the Top 100 games in App Store rose by cheating.
