Top Earnings Unveiled: “The Voice of China” Coaches’ Fees Make Waves, with Nicholas Tse Surpassing Jay Chou

Recently, the recording file of Coco Lee from the Chinese reality show “The Voice of China” was leaked, generating much discussion. Many sympathized with Lee for encountering such a situation. In addition, a list detailing the appearance fees for the show’s mentors has also been leaked online, revealing significant differences in their compensation, which has become another topic of hot debate.

“The Voice of China” features several renowned singers serving as mentors, including Nicholas Tse, Jay Chou, Wang Leehom, Coco Lee, Eason Chan, Na Ying, Liu Huan, Li Ronghao, and Emil Chau among others. According to the leaked fee list, the highest earner is not Jay Chou, but Nicholas Tse, who earns 32 million RMB per season. Jay Chou follows closely with 28 million RMB, ranking second, while Wang Leehom stands third with 25 million RMB.

Subsequent on the list, several mentors share the same fee. Coco Lee, Eason Chan, Na Ying, and Liu Huan each earn 20 million RMB per season. Will Pan and Wang Feng each earn 15 million RMB per season. Chyi Chin earns 11 million RMB, while Li Ronghao and Emil Chau both earn 10 million RMB per season. Jacky Xue, Li Yuchun, and Yang Kun each receive 8 million RMB per season, and Harlem Yu is compensated with 5 million RMB.

Although these figures cannot entirely represent the actual worth of these mentors – since the list is not exhaustive – it still shows that each mentor has their respective market value. “The Voice of China” has been on air for approximately 11 years. The mentors from the first season differ from those in the most recent season due to changes in the show’s dynamics, hence direct comparisons are not feasible.
