At the Huawei Harmony system and full-scenario ecological product launch conference, Yu Chengdong, president of Huawei’s consumer business, officially announced the Huawei P50 series. Yu Chengdong said that due to well-known reasons, the launch time of the Huawei P50 series has not yet been determined.
Huawei P50 series will be pre-installed with HarmonyOS 2 system, equipped with a perforated screen in the middle, and adopt an oval double ring mirror group design. In terms of camera arrangement, the Huawei P50 series has four rear cameras and adopts a “3+1” camera layout, including 3 cameras on the top and 1 camera on the bottom. Now more renderings of Huawei P50 Pro series are exposed, which are available in black, white, blue-green and golden yellow.
The design of the Huawei P50 series is similar to the previous leak. It is still a rear four-camera. The official label is that the main camera has an aperture of f/1.8 and a focal length of 18~125mm, which is equivalent to 5x optical change. However, the assistant camera does not seem to be a regular rectangular periscope, hopefully it’s a new technology.
According to previous reports, Huawei P50 will use a 6.3-inch flat screen, the whole machine is about 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm (including the rear camera protrusion is 10.6 mm), so the P50 body is larger than the P40 (P40 body size is 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5 mm).
Huawei P50 series is expected to adopt a new outsole main camera IMX707, or it will reach 1/1.18 inches. In addition to the basic version, there are multiple auxiliary lenses that support fingerprint recognition under the screen, and dual speakers on the top and bottom.
