The Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Zhejiang Province, China recently released the sampling inspections of non-medical masks in the fourth quarter of 2020. A total of 15 batches of non-medical mask products produced by 15 Chinese companies in 7 regions including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Jinhua, Lishui, and Taizhou were spot-checked. Among them, 11 batches of products were unqualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 73.33%. The unqualified items involve instructions for use, filtration efficiency, protective effect, and the breaking strength of the mask belt, and the connection between the mask belt and the mask body.
